This after school art haven will provide kids a supportive space to decompress, learn and create. Each class will include a movement class with Lucia, exploring improvisational exercises and games to unlock each child's unique creative instinct, expanding range of motion and confidence, followed by a short story break and an art class with Anna: experiment, collaborate, and explore a variety of materials and techniques with a focus on painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture and more!​

About the Instructors​

Lucia Rich (she/her) is a performing arts educator, SomaSource practitioner, yoga/wellness instructor and mother devoted to the practice of embodiment through her personal practice, teaching and performing for the past 20 years.  Collaborations in dance, theatre, puppetry and clown have taken her across the US and internationally, including Bulgaria, Turkey, Scotland, Italy, England, Germany and France.  She has worked as a dancer, choreographer, movement director and educator, in NYC, Westchester and beyond.

Anna Adler (she/her) is an artist, educator, cultural worker, and mother, functioning at the intersection of life and art. She maintains an interdisciplinary creative practice of image and object making, teaching, curating, and community building. Her work has been shown in a myriad of places and spaces, including NYC, Detroit, Prague, and Berlin, to name a few.

Important Details

Make-up Policy: If class is cancelled due to inclement weather or teacher illness, a make up will be scheduled. If no make-up can be scheduled you will receive a refund/credit for the missed class.  *Please note that no refunds will be issued if your child is absent for illness or travel.​

Minimum Enrollment: This class needs 4 participants to run. ​
