Art & Movement Pop-Ups!

(Caregiver required for children 3 and under)
Drop Off Option 1: 10:30 am-12:30 pm | $50/child ($85/2 children)
Drop Off Option 2: 10:30 am- 1:30 pm | $75/child ($130/2 children)
Caregiver Option: 10:30-12:30 |
Join us for these day off of school Art & Movement creative events. Schedule will include some free play, followed by movement class led by Luca Rich, a short story time & healthy snack (provided) and an art class with Anna Adler. Longer option includes outdoor play and lunch (provided by parents). (Caregiver required for children under 3).

About Sensory Art
Enjoy a sensory art experience, discover materials, colors, and textures, embrace the creative process and make a good mess! This hands-on class builds curiosity, tactile awareness and confidence in kids..and grown-ups!
About Creative Movement
Music and movement set the stage for exploration through classic children's songs, stories and games as we introduce quality of movement concepts and embody animals and elements from the natural world. Fun improvisational exercises expand range of movement and build creative confidence.​

About the Instructors
Lucia Rich (she/her) is a movement arts educator, yoga instructor, theater artist and mother devoted to the practice of embodiment through her personal practice and teaching for the past 20 years. Collaborations in dance, theater, clown and puppetry have taken her across the US, Canada and internationally, including Bulgaria, Turkey, Scotland, Italy, England, Germany and France. Lucia teaches yoga and movement to all ages locally in Ossining/Briarcliff and throughout Westchester. She founded Embodied Arts & Wellness in 2023.

Anna Adler (she/her) is an artist, educator, cultural worker, and mother, functioning at the intersection of life and art. She maintains an interdisciplinary creative practice of image and object making, teaching, curating, and community building. Her work has been shown in a myriad of places and spaces, including NYC, Detroit, Prague, and Berlin, to name a few.

Important Details
Refund Policy: If you decide not to attend for any reason, please give us 48 hrs notice in order to receive a refund for this event. Space is limited and you are reserving a spot that is hard to fill last minute. *Please note that we can not give a refund if your child is absent for illness the day of as we prepare materials in advance and pay to rent the space depending on how many children have signed up. Thank you for understanding!​
