Yin/Yang Yoga
This all-levels class combines the benefits of both Yin poses (passive, longer held postures) and Yang poses (dynamic postures and simple sequences). The slower pace of this class calms anxiety, bringing balance to the organs of the body while stimulating the meridians (energy channels). We will focus on both deep, connective tissues, improving flexibility and joint mobility while also flowing through more active postures that work on building strength and stamina. Similar to Slow Flow Yoga, this class incorporates mindful sequencing that follows the ebb and flow of the changing seasons, providing a balanced practice that can greatly impact energy levels.
