About Spring Yin Yoga & Meditation
Spring is a season of growth and renewal. After the stillness of winter, life force begins to rise — ready to move, expand, and bring new energy into the body and mind. This gentle immersion workshop is an invitation to pause, listen, and honor what is ready to emerge within you. Through a nourishing blend of yin yoga, somatic movement, reflective writing, and yoga nidra, you’ll be guided to replenish your nervous system while softly enlivening energy throughout the body.
About Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is more than just poses on a mat. It is a meditative practice that helps to unwind the nervous system, open and balance the meridians (energy channels) of the body and supports the release of physical and mental tension. The slow pace, intentional transitions and extended hold time of each posture allows for a deep state of restfulness. Props such as bolsters, pillows and blocks help to bring comfort to the body, which allows for more stillness.
About Yoga Nidra
Yoga Nidra is a guided relaxation practice that leads you into a state of restful alertness between waking and sleeping that is restorative and transformational at a cellular level. Breath awareness, body scans, and guided visualizations help to quiet the mind and relax the body deeply. The goal is not to fall asleep, but to enter a liminal state where your body rests and your awareness is expansive.
