Yoga & Creative Movement

 with Lucia Rich

About Yoga & Creative Movement

Foster a love of yoga with your little one by introducing simple postures and movement concepts through music, stories, games and embodying animals and images from the natural world. Kids will get a feel for simple breathing tools and mindfulness exercises that help soothe anxiety, connecting body, mind and heart.  Note: This class is geared towards 3-6 yr olds but younger and older siblings are welcome to attend.

Benefits of Parent-Child Yoga:

Strengthen connection through shared movement and play.

• Supports co-regulation- your calm helps their calm,  their play/creativity helps your play/creativity, and vice versa

• Builds emotional resilience by practicing tools for grounding and self-soothing together

• Creates a predictable ritual that can anchor busy family life.

• Boosts body awareness and acceptance for both children and adults

• Encourages healthy communication through partner poses and mindful listening

• Invites joy and playfulness, reducing stress for everyone.

• Supports listening skills, handling transitions and school readiness.

• Physical + Emotional Development
