About Sensory Art
Enjoy a sensory art experience, discover materials, colors, and textures, embrace the creative process and make a good mess! This hands-on class builds curiosity, tactile awareness and confidence in toddlers...and their adults!
About Creative Movement
Music and movement set the stage for exploration through classic children's songs, stories and games as we develop basic locomotor skills, introduce quality of movement concepts, embody animals and elements from the natural world and have fun with props such as shakers, scarves, parachutes, balls and balloons.
About the Instructors
Lucia Rich (she/her) is a performing arts educator, SomaSource practitioner, yoga/wellness instructor and mother devoted to the practice of embodiment through her personal practice, teaching and performing for the past 20 years. Collaborations in dance, theater, clown and puppetry have taken her across the US and internationally, including Bulgaria, Turkey, Scotland, Italy, England, Germany and France. Lucia founded Embodied Arts & Wellness in 2023.
Anna Adler (she/her) is an artist, educator, cultural worker, and mother, functioning at the intersection of life and art. She maintains an interdisciplinary creative practice of image and object making, teaching, curating, and community building. Her work has been shown in a myriad of places and spaces, including NYC, Detroit, Prague, and Berlin, to name a few.
Important Policies
Weather: If Ossining Schools are closed or on a two hr delay, morning classes will be rescheduled or cancelled. If class is cancelled, you will receive a refund for that class.
Teacher Illness: If one teacher is sick, class will still be held with a modified class plan. If both teachers are ill, class will be rescheduled or cancelled. If class is cancelled, we will hold a make-up date. If you are unable to attend the make-up, you will receive a refund for that class.
Student Illness or Absence: If you register for a series or single class, no refund will be given for student illness or absence. Student may come to another scheduled class as a make-up.
Last Minute Schedule Changes: We do occasionally have last minute schedule changes or changes of venue due to events that impact the Church. We will do our best to alert parents of these changes as quickly as possible. Please make sure to subscribe to the email list as these schedule changes will be sent out as soon as possible.
